Overview
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse or production environment. This role ensures efficient workflow while maintaining safety and accuracy in all operations.
Skills and Experience
Experience loading and unloading trucks and handling palletized goods
Familiarity with inventory systems, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
Experience operating different types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or electric pallet jack) is a plus
Proven ability to follow safety procedures and work in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience with shipping and receiving processes is preferred
