What You’ll Do as a Quality Control Inspector:
- Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for defects and compliance
- Use computers and quality-management/ERP software to record and track inspection information
- Enter inspection results and production data accurately into computer systems
- Work with spreadsheets, electronic records, and other digital documentation
- Measure dimensions and tolerances using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and work instructions
- Identify quality issues and communicate findings with production and quality teams
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation
- Assist with inspection equipment and calibration activities
- Support continuous improvement efforts and participate in audits
- Help ensure products consistently meet established quality standards
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- Previous experience in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing preferred
- Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, ERP/quality software, and entering data accurately
- Experience with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to read technical documents, follow SOPs, and maintain accurate records
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight as needed
- Familiarity with ISO/GMP quality systems is a plus
