Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our metal stamping operations supporting automotive parts production. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or warehouse environment and be fully bilingual . This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect metal stamped automotive parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and control plans
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify defects, non-conformances, and support corrective actions
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures (including ISO/IATF standards if applicable)
- Assist with audits, first article inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Recent experience in quality control within manufacturing or warehouse environments (preferably metal stamping or automotive)
- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) – required
- Strong knowledge of inspection tools and quality processes
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
