What you'll do as: Tool Designer
- AutoCAD drafting
- SolidWorks design
- Excel data entry
- Manufacturing tool design
Skills and Experience
- AutoCAD 2023 version – drawing and drafting experience
- SolidWorks design, drawing, and drafting experience
- Excel spreadsheets – creation and data entry/population
- Word documents and email communication tasks
- Design tools, fixtures, support equipment used in manufacturing, production, and product testing
- Catenary and standard products experience
- Ship mount molds experience
- Rubber molding press line support equipment, molds, worktables, and support structures
- Lifting and material handling equipment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes used in tooling design
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and procedures
- Sandblasting, painting, trimming, and shipping of completed parts
- API pipe flanges and gaskets knowledge
- Troubleshooting molding process issues
- Mechanical aptitude using basic hand tools and measuring devices
- Operation of forklifts and overhead crane equipment
