Overview

We are seeking a skilled TIG/MIG Welder on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience performing high-quality precision welding using both TIG and MIG processes on a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical ability, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Perform TIG and MIG welding on various materials according to specifications and blueprints 
  •  Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols 
  •  Set up and operate TIG and MIG welding equipment safely and efficiently 
  •  Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements 
  •  Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and fitting components prior to welding 
  •  Select appropriate welding techniques, materials, and settings for each job 
  •  Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition 
  •  Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and OSHA regulations 
  •  Collaborate with team members, fabricators, and supervisors to complete projects on time 
  •  Document work progress and report any issues or defects

Skills and Experience

Required Qualifications

  •  Proven experience as a TIG and MIG Welder (3-5 years of experience) 
  •  Proficiency in welding stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel 
  •  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents 
  •  Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship 
  •  Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures 
  •  Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials 
  •  High school diploma or equivalent 
Preferred Qualifications

  •  Welding certification (e.g., AWS or equivalent) 
  •  Experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments 
  •  Familiarity with additional welding techniques (Stick welding a plus) 
  •  Basic math and measurement skills
