Overview
We are seeking a dependable Concrete Finisher/Repair Technician to support production and finishing of concrete products. This role involves repairing, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Repair concrete defects using proper patching and finishing techniques
- Drill holes in concrete products as needed
- Mix and apply mortar/cement for repairs
- Smooth and finish concrete surfaces to meet specifications
- Use hand grinders to cut and smooth surfaces
- Select and apply appropriate materials to achieve proper finish
- Assist with general cleanup and housekeeping tasks
Skills and Experience
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Valid driver’s license; must pass drug screen and background check
- Minimum 6 months of concrete experience (precast experience preferred)
- Basic knowledge of construction math, blueprints, and hand/power tools
- Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to complete assigned tasks
- Reliable transportation with a strict 7:00 AM start time
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed, including extended hours
