This is a physically active manufacturing position that offers on-the-job training, consistent first-shift hours, overtime opportunities, and a clear path for pay increases and full-time employment.
Pay & Advancement
• Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Increase to $19.20 per hour upon successful completion of the temporary period and transition to full-time employment
• Increase to $20.21 per hour with continued progression as a full-time employee
Schedule:
• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• One-hour lunch break provided
• Overtime may be required based on production demands
• Employees are typically notified around 1:00 PM if overtime will be needed that day
• Typical workdays may range from 8 to 12 hours depending on production needs
What You'll Do
• Support daily production operations within the Precast department
• Assist with material handling and movement of products throughout the facility
• Use basic hand tools and production equipment
• Follow work instructions and production schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in multiple areas of production as business needs require
• Operate forklifts when needed (approximately 10-15% of the position)
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Each day begins with a safety meeting where production goals, safety topics, and daily expectations are reviewed.
Skills and Experience
What We're Looking For:
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to perform physical labor throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required
• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
New hires receive extensive onboarding and safety training, including:
• Computer-based training modules
• Safety procedures and workplace expectations
• SDS and chemical safety training
• Equipment and production process training
• Ongoing support from the Safety Team and production leadership
Attendance Expectations
Reliable attendance is essential to success in this position.
• Temporary employees are subject to a 3-point attendance policy during their first 90 days
• Employees must notify supervision at least two hours before the start of their shift if they will be absent
• Properly documented medical appointments may be excused
• Excessive absenteeism or tardiness may impact employment eligibility
