Overview

 The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator is responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. We are seeking a reliable individual interested in long-term employment.

Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, or grinders) to produce parts to specification.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.

  • Load raw materials into machines and monitor cutting/machining processes.

  • Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.

  • Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure machines are kept in proper working condition.

  • Make adjustments to machine settings to improve quality and efficiency.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

  • Record production data, downtime, and quality checks as required.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.

  • Previous experience as a CNC operator or in a manufacturing environment required.

  • Supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.

  • Desire for long-term, stable employment with growth opportunities.

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.

  • Basic math and mechanical skills.

  • Knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

  • Team-oriented mindset with leadership potential.
