What You’ll Do as a Stamping Operator II:
You will be responsible for operating stamping presses to produce high-quality metal components.
- Machine Operation: Operate stamping presses, including loading raw materials and removing finished parts.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor machine operations and perform routine in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to identify any defects.
- Technical Support: Assist with die changeovers and setup under the direction of a supervisor, and perform minor machine adjustments as trained.
- Inventory & Shipping: Maintain proper documentation for production and quality checks, and package and label finished products for shipment.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintain 5S standards, follow all PPE requirements, and ensure safe work practices at all times.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Experience: 1–2 years of manufacturing or stamping press experience is preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: The ability to read and interpret basic work instructions and part drawings.
- Precision Skills: Proficiency in basic math and the use of measurement tools like calipers and micrometers.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and push/pull up to 80 lbs.
- Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required.
