Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by maintaining and repairing plant equipment. This role is essential to ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and overall production efficiency.
Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
$20 - $22/hour plus $2/hour attendance bonus
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair plant equipment including bag line systems, augers, legs, mixers, and conditioners
- Service and maintain forklifts, front-end loaders, pallet jacks, and air compressors
- Maintain pesticide impregnating equipment and pumps
- Perform maintenance on Cambelt unloading systems
- Complete and maintain accurate service logs for all equipment
- Issue purchase orders and approve invoices for maintenance-related supplies
- Perform electrical, plumbing, lubrication, and general construction tasks as needed
- Assist with department budgeting and cost tracking
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in industrial or plant maintenance preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
