Overview
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Safety Specialist to support operations in a high-demand electric plant environment. This role is ideal for a safety professional with a strong background in industrial, manufacturing, or power plant operations who is passionate about maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace.

What you'll do as: Industrial Electric Plant Safety Specialist
• Conduct routine safety inspections
• Develop and enforce safety programs
• Lead safety trainings and onboarding
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Ensure OSHA and company compliance
• Monitor high-risk work (electrical, LOTO, confined space)
• Support a strong safety culture across the electric plant
Work Environment
• Electric plant/power generation setting
• High-voltage equipment and heavy machinery
• Fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Non-climate-controlled areas
Skills and Experience
Preferred Candidate:
• Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST),
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or
Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certified
• Strong OSHA knowledge (LOTO, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety)
• Industrial safety program experience
• Electric plant or heavy industrial background preferred
• Experience with safety training and audits
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
