Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to support our Beam Packaging operations. This role is responsible for packaging, mechanical assembly, and assisting with basic electrical assembly tasks while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Perform packaging and mechanical assembly tasks according to work instructions and drawings
- Assemble components and subassemblies using hand and power tools
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
- Package and label finished products accurately
- Read and interpret basic assembly drawings and documentation
- Assist with basic electrical assembly tasks, including wire routing and terminal connections
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate issues or discrepancies to supervisors in a timely manner
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Skills and Experience
- Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and assembly drawings
- Willingness to learn basic electrical assembly skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to problem solve
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
