Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble and wire electronic control equipment, panels, enclosures, and traffic signal components. You’ll work from blueprints, electrical diagrams, and detailed instructions to create high-quality assemblies that meet company standards. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment, ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork, problem-solving, and building precise electrical assemblies.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret point-to-point electrical diagrams, blueprints, and written instructions.
- Cut, strip, tin, crimp, and solder wires accurately.
- Assemble sub-components, panels, and enclosures using hand and power tools.
- Accurately route wiring and ensure all connections meet specifications.
- Complete inventory and production paperwork as required.
- Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED; relevant electronics or assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and written instructions.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, wiring, and using hand/power tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive hand tasks.
- Basic computer skills are helpful for documentation.
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Occasional overtime, including weekends
