Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual with strong mathematical and problem-solving skills to perform a variety of machining operations.
Salary Rate will depend on the Experience, can be define during /after interview.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of machines including boring mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and milling machines.
- Perform a wide range of machine, hand, and bench operations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Use basic mathematical calculations to complete machining tasks accurately.
- Work from sketches and verbal instructions as required.
- Set up machines independently and design or fabricate special adapters when necessary.
- Use and calibrate handheld measuring tools such as measuring tapes, calipers, and micrometers.
- Maintain accuracy and quality standards during all machining processes.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand numerical measurements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and reach above shoulder level when required.
