What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Lead and develop a team of production employees on molding and assembly lines
- Ensure daily production goals are met while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Train and coach employees on procedures, equipment, and best practices
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Monitor production output, labor efficiency, and waste reduction
- Troubleshoot production issues and partner with maintenance to reduce downtime
- Maintain accurate production reports, timekeeping, and shift documentation
- Track employee training and skills progression using sign-off sheets or matrices
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean and 5S
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 5–8 years of manufacturing experience (assembly, molding, or production environment)
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a production setting
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, workflow, and productivity metrics
- Experience in training and developing entry-level or hourly workforce
- Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, PPE, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic computer skills (Excel, production systems, or ERP tools)
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production issues
- Ability to work 3rd shift or off-shift schedules consistently
