Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel / Miscellaneous Metals Shop Foreman to lead our fabrication and assembly operations. In this hands-on role, you will supervise daily shop activities, coordinate with project teams, and ensure all structural steel and miscellaneous metals are fabricated and assembled safely and to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise shop operations and manage personnel.
- Coordinate with project managers and field teams to interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Oversee project budgets, material procurement, and cost control.
- Train and develop fabrication personnel.
Skills and Experience
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in structural steel or miscellaneous metals fabrication.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills in a shop environment.
- Strong blueprint reading and project management abilities.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
