Pay Rate: $20.68/hour (includes $3.00 shift differential)
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for the movement, storage, and tracking of materials to ensure smooth production flow and accurate inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety guidelines and protocols
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
- Transport materials to storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
- Prepare and stage materials for production based on work orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and preparing outbound shipments
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Work up to 12-hour weekend shift as required
Skills and Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 13 years of material handling or warehouse experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Forklift experience (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with inventory systems and basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures, including handling hazardous materials
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends
