Overview
Operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift to move, load, and organize materials within a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy. Responsible for transporting pallets, staging product for shipping and receiving, and ensuring proper inventory placement throughout the facility. Utilize warehouse technology such as handheld RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and digital inventory tools to track product movement, update inventory records, and verify order accuracy. Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks, and data entry related to shipments and stock levels. Perform routine equipment inspections, report mechanical issues, and follow all safety procedures while working collaboratively with shipping, receiving, and inventory teams to maintain efficient warehouse operations.
Skills and Experience
2+ years of experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or other digital inventory tools to track and move product. Skilled in loading and unloading trucks, palletizing materials, staging orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures, equipment inspections, and working in fast-paced environments while maintaining productivity and accuracy. Comfortable using basic computer systems or handheld devices to update shipment and inventory information.
