Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to support daily warehouse and yard operations. This position is responsible for loading and unloading flatbed trucks and vans, moving heavy building materials, and assisting customers with orders. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling stone and brick products, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate a forklift to load and unload flatbeds, vans, and delivery trucks
• Safely move and stage brick, stone cladding, and other building materials
• Assist with order pulling and staging for customer pickup or delivery
• Lift and handle materials up to 80 lbs as needed
• Ensure materials are loaded securely and accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized yard and warehouse area
• Interact professionally with customers picking up materials
• Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines
Skills and Experience
• Previous forklift experience required
• Experience loading flatbed trucks preferred
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds consistently
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a warehouse/yard environment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
