What You’ll Do as an Assembler:
- Read and follow work instructions to position, install, and assemble parts and subassemblies
- Assemble components and ensure proper fit, alignment, and fastening
- Use templates and guides when assembling seat products
- Access computer systems to retrieve assembly instructions, drawings, and part lists
- Follow diagrams, wiring lists, and technical documentation
- Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately
- Use small hand tools including crimpers, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, wrenches, and torque tools
- Follow verbal and written instructions while maintaining quality standards
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic math skills including fractions and decimals
- Ability to problem-solve and work in a production environment
- Preferred : 1 year of experience in a complex assembly or manufacturing environment
