Overview

Our growing manufacturing client in Norridge is looking for a QC Technician to help ensure customers receive high‑quality products through accurate inspection and documentation. This role focuses on verifying part conformance and supporting production with in‑process checks.

What You’ll Do
• Inspect, test, sort, and sample machined or assembled parts for defects or deviations deviations from specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools and test equipment
• Enter inspection dimensions into computer software
• Perform in‑process inspections on the production floor
• Communicate results and resolve issues with supervisors or the Quality Manager

Skills and Experience

What You Bring
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, measuring tapes, and scales
• Blueprint reading experience
• Strong documentation and information‑recording skills
• Flexibility to support QC needs across different areas

Ideal Traits
• Strong communicator with supervisors, peers, and production staff
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Able to work at a fast pace and multitask
• Team‑oriented and comfortable with detailed, hands‑on work
