Overview
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to support daily warehouse operations. This position involves unloading inbound freight, scanning shipments into the system, and loading outbound trailers. The operator will inspect freight for any overages, shortages, or damages and report discrepancies to the supervisor. The role also requires maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures. Flexibility to participate in a rotating weekend schedule is required.
2nd shift
Monday to Friday (Rotation Weekend)
4pm to 1pm
Skills and Experience
Experience operating a sit-down forklift preferred
- Ability to lift, move, and handle freight safely
- Basic computer or scanner experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends as required
- A min of 6 months of experince required
