Overview
The Line Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining wire production lines to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. This position supports weekend operations and requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment.
WEEKEND ONLY.
Skills and Experience
- Operate assigned wire production line equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments to maintain product quality
- Load raw materials and unload finished wire products
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report mechanical or quality issues to supervisors
- Accurately complete production, quality, and safety documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety policies, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
- Work as part of a team to meet production and efficiency goals
