What You’ll Do as a Mixing Operator:
- Safely perform mixing and blending duties in a production environment
- Weigh and mix materials according to SOPs and batch sheets
- Record accurate production data while mixing inks and solutions
- Charge raw materials and solvents in a measured, controlled manner
- Support production output targets (daily, weekly, monthly, annual)
- Perform quality control checks using visual and machine inspections
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues
- Assist with cleaning, changeovers, and coating room procedures
- Support basic maintenance activities and improvement initiatives
- Help train other mixing operators when needed
- Maintain strong housekeeping and safety standards
- Follow all safety rules, OSHA, and HAZWOPER guidelines
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (technical associate degree preferred)
- Prior manufacturing experience required; mixing/blending experience a plus
- Basic math, weighing, and PC skills needed
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and move carts
- Comfortable working around solvents and wearing a respirator
- Strong multitasking and teamwork skills in fast-paced production
- Must complete OSHA & HAZWOPER safety training (provided)
