Overview
Operate, monitor, and safely start, run, and stop extruder and/or panel line equipment while ensuring all products meet quality specifications
Assist with daily production planning alongside the Process Engineer or Supervisor
Monitor hourly production levels and identify and correct quality deviations
Record raw material usage and maintain accurate production documentation
Execute machine changeovers, including verifying proper settings and tooling adjustments
Tear down, clean, and reassemble machinery following standard or emergency stops
Thread materials through cutting, slitting, and guillotine sections of panel equipment
Provide functional direction to line workers during machine operations and material handling
Support loading, unloading, and staging of raw materials and finished goods
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing routine housekeeping and equipment care
Skills and Experience
Previous experience operating manufacturing or industrial machinery preferred
Ability to follow safety procedures and production specifications consistently
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and material handling
