Onin Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Cherry Picker Operators for a valued client in Knightdale, NC. This is a great opportunity for reliable warehouse professionals who are comfortable working at heights and want steady hours, competitive pay, and benefits you can actually use.
1st shift: $17.50/hour Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
2nd shift: $18.50/hour Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:30pm
What You’ll Do:
As a Cherry Picker Operator, you will:
- Pick and pull stock orders accurately
- Operate a Raymond Order Picker and other material handling equipment
- Use an RF scan gun and basic computer systems
- Work safely at heights up to 40 feet
- Organize, stack, and stage pallets
- Navigate warehouse locations and layouts
- Follow pick, pack, and ship procedures
- Monitor and resolve order discrepancies
- Assist with receiving and put-away as needed
- Support the team by completing related tasks
Skills and Experience
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of recent cherry picker/order picker experience in a warehouse or distribution setting
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures
- Comfort working at elevated heights (up to 40 feet)
- Forklift or other MHE certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
