Overview
As a member of the Quality team, Quality Inspector Lead will coordinate the efforts of developing process controls, action plans and other requirements needed for effective quality control. Perform inspection and verify that products conform to the required configurations and performance mechanically, electrically and visually. Ensures that quality inspection records are kept per established requirements in order to show that all items have been manufactured, assembled and tested according to requirements of engineering, manufacturing, customer and any other certification requirements.
Skills and Experience
Basic Qualifications
· High School diploma or GED
· Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
· Able to utilize digital and dial calipers, multi-ohm, voltage test meters, thread and ring gauges
· Experienced in the proper and safe use of hand and light power tools
· Basic math skills needed for business calculations
· Must be proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word & Outlook
· Able to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in bending, squatting and standing positions (includes working off ladders) for long periods of time (in excess of one hour)
· Effective communication skills: verbal and written (English)
· Follow written and/or oral instructions in English
