Manufacturing Engineer

Engineering:
• Detailed engineering understanding of customer and VC processes.
• Composite knowledge - products and processes
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Project management understanding, including plan building.
• Computer skills to prepare, analyse and develop reports and spreadsheets.
• Ability to manage projects and prioritize workload within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly.
• General engineering experiences in CAD, CNC Programming and data analysis.
• MS office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks (or similar)

Ideal but not essential:
• Proficiency with Visual Basic for Application (VBA) - Ability to develop VBA macros to automate tasks on large data sets.
• Experience working in FAI or aerospace manufacturing environments.

Customer Management:
• Regular visits to customers, front-line responsibility for reporting on customer engineering changes & opportunities.
• Co-ordinating customer projects linked to our products / services.
• Ensure customer and company needs are met.
• Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
• Providing training and producing support material for customers.
• Ensuring full adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Ensuring full adherence to all policies and procedures in place at customer premises.

• Self-starter, requiring minimum supervision.
• Customer focused.
• Results and deadline driven.
• Keen eye for detail with a quality focused approach to producing accurate work.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels, both externally and internally.
• Effective and concise communicator.
• Self-motivated and works under own initiative.

Schedule/ Work Conditions

• Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
• Environmentally controlled area - temperature and humidity monitored to comfortable levels.

Retirement Planning:

You are eligible to participate in the 401(k)-retirement plan first of the month following three (3) months of employment. At this point, you may set-up your elections and begin contributing. Once enrolled, we match your contribution of up to 4% of your salary which is100% vested immediately. Employer contributions will be made in accordance with IRS guidelines.
