What You'll Do as a Machine Operator:
- Machine Operation: Set up work areas and safely operate equipment according to established procedures.
- Material Management: Secure necessary supplies and efficiently feed materials into the machine.
- Product Finishing: Stack, label, and band finished products/components for shipment.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect materials and finished goods against standards and maintain accurate production records.
- Safety & Inspections: Perform pre-shift equipment checks and follow all safety and quality protocols.
- Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Team Engagement: Participate in safety meetings and Continuous Improvement (CI) programs.
- Support: Assist with other duties as assigned to support production goals.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 6 months experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Proficiency in reading and understanding production specification and operations manual.
- Excellent focus on safety and quality control.
- Working knowledge of basic math
