What You'll Do as a Delivery Helper:
- Assist delivery drivers with loading, unloading, and securing furniture, appliances, and other large items.
- Loading, unloading, and installing deliveries safely and efficiently
- Secure items properly within the vehicle to prevent damage during transport
- Navigate to delivery locations using maps or GPS
- Communicate with customers and provide excellent service during deliveries
- Support the driver throughout the route to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Assist in the warehouse as needed
Skills and Experience
The Preferred Candidate Will Bring:
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. independently and items over 50 lbs. with team assistance throughout the shift.
- Comfortable with physical labor, including bending, twisting, and prolonged standing
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work early morning shifts (5 AM start)
- Willingness to work long hours (10-12 hour shifts) or in the warehouse as needed
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
