Overview
Ōnin Staffing is seeking an experienced Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, precision alignment, and equipment repair in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. This role requires strict adherence to safety standards and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, align, and dismantle industrial machinery and equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and rotating equipment
- Diagnose mechanical failures and perform efficient repairs to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform precision measurements, leveling, and alignment using hand and power tools
- Conduct welding, cutting, rigging, and fabrication as required
- Lubricate machinery and replace worn or defective components
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of millwright or industrial mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with precision alignment and measurement tools
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
