What You’ll Do as a Slitting Department Team Lead:

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of the slitting department.
Coordinate and assign tasks to team members for optimal line efficiency.
Conduct quality control inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
Set up, adjust, and operate slitting machines according to specifications and safety protocols.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement solutions.
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize processes.

Skills and Experience

Work Experience

The Preferred Candidate Might:

Have an Associate degree in a technical field as a plus! (H.S. diploma required)
Have demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in a manufacturing environment
Have a strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be be tech-savvy with computer systems and data entry skills
Need the physical ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
