Overview
Ōnin Staffing is hiring Temporary Food Production Associates to assist with short-term production runs at a local facility! This is a great opportunity to earn extra income and gain experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Schedule:
- 10/22: ~2 hours (site & equipment safety training)
- 10/23: 7:00am – 7:00pm
- 10/27: 7:00am – 7:00pm
- 10/28: Shorter day to wrap up remaining work
Pay:
- $17/hr standard pay; if you work the entire shifts with perfect attendance you will be paid $20/hour.
Job Duties Include:
- Moving bags of finished goods into totes
- Cleaning tailings/scrap from production machines
- Transporting ingredients around the mixing area
- General cleaning and sanitation in food production areas
Skills and Experience
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prior experience in manufacturing or production is helpful
- Ability to read English safety materials (supervisors are bilingual English/Spanish)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in a cold/wet environment (PPE provided)
- Must bring your own safety toe shoes
- Must be able to work around food allergens (gluten, soy, egg, etc.)
