Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be forklift certified and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders based on pick tickets or digital instructions.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to retrieve and transport items.
- Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records using scanning devices.
- Inspect items for quality and report discrepancies or damages.
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and organizing warehouse shelves.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
- Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet daily goals.
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
- 1–2 years working in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment REQUIRED.
- Experience with order fulfillment, staging, and shipping processes
- Valid forklift certification (sit-down or stand-up).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer or scanner proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime as needed.
