Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to manage the safe and timely movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout our manufacturing facility. This role is critical to maintaining our production schedule and ensuring the accuracy of our inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, stack, and stage materials in designated areas.
  • Maintain inventory of pallets, tubes and other packing supplies necessary for efficient packing operations.
  • Verify pallet label information against handwritten information for any discrepancies
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse. Sweep area each day at first of shift.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Transport materials between the warehouse and shipping/receiving docks.
  • Assist in repacking and labeling of products.
  • Perform pre-shift equipment checks and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Accurately scan and track inventory using handheld scanners and our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Verify paperwork for trailers for accurate inventory shipments.
  • Keep an accurate inventory of all materials and waste.
  • Assist the Shipping and Receiving teams with the staging and loading of outgoing and incoming shipments.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and inventory discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with machine operators, line supervisors, and quality control staff to support continuous production flow.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience operating a forklift, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, or perform physically demanding tasks for the duration of the shift.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills to accurately complete logs and inventory documentation.
