Washer Department Associate

Overview

• Operate and monitor pre-paint wash systems, including washers, sprayers, and dryers.
• Load and unload parts onto racks or conveyors for washing and pre-treatment.
• Inspect parts for cleanliness and proper surface preparation before sending to paint.
• Mix and monitor chemical concentrations, pH levels, and water quality to ensure proper wash system performance.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wash equipment.
• Keep accurate records of wash system checks, chemical usage, and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety guidelines and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with waste handling and disposal in compliance with environmental and company standards.
• Work closely with the paint department to ensure production schedules and quality requirements are met.
