Ōnin Staffing is seeking experienced Wood Cutting & Assembly Associates for a manufacturing facility in Durham, NC. We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience in carpentry, woodworking, wood cutting, framing, or furniture/cabinet assembly.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, using tools, and building quality wood products.
Job Responsibilities
- Measure, mark, and cut wood materials to required specifications.
- Operate saws, drills, nail guns, and other woodworking tools.
- Assemble wood components using hand and power tools.
- Read tape measures accurately and follow measurements.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Perform repetitive cutting, lifting, and assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Previous carpentry, woodworking, or wood assembly experience required.
- Experience using saws, drills, nail guns, and measuring tools.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Experience in construction, framing, cabinetry, furniture manufacturing, or wood fabrication preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation.
