Overview
Seeking dependable and hardworking individuals for a manufacturing position as a Saw Operator / Cut Thread Operator. Employees will be responsible for operating industrial saws and threading equipment to cut, shape, and prepare materials according to production specifications. This position requires the ability to accurately measure materials, operate machinery, inspect finished products, and maintain a consistent production pace. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while following safety procedures and maintaining product quality.
Duties:
- Operate industrial saws and cutting equipment to cut materials to specified measurements.
- Perform threading operations using designated machinery and equipment.
- Read and use a tape measure to ensure accurate measurements and cuts.
- Set up, operate, and monitor machinery during production.
- Inspect materials and finished products for accuracy, defects, and quality.
- Handle, move, and organize materials throughout the production process.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and production instructions.
- Assist with additional manufacturing and general labor duties as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.
- Basic mechanical skills and comfort operating production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
- Must be safety-conscious and able to maintain production standards.
