Overview
Ōnin Staffing is seeking an experienced and dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate for an exciting opportunity with one of our manufacturing partners!
The ideal candidate will have experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts, managing inventory, and handling shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Monday-Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm $16.41/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize materials.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, flatbeds, and other delivery vehicles.
- Accurately pick, package, stage, and prepare products for shipment.
- Receive incoming materials, inspect products, and verify quantities.
- Match product numbers to work orders, pick lists, and inventory records.
- Use barcode scanners and computer systems to track inventory movement.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including packing slips and bills of lading.
- Coordinate shipments through UPS, FedEx, and other freight carriers.
- Use hand tools to build pallets and shipping crates as needed.
- Communicate inventory shortages, damaged materials, and shipping discrepancies.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications & Requirements
- Forklift license required.
- Experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, pick lists, part numbers, and blueprints.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or ERP systems.
- Ability to perform basic math and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
