What You’ll Do as a Janitor:
- Maintain clean, safe production floors using a Tennant floor scrubber.
- Clean, charge, and maintain industrial floor-cleaning equipment.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize surfaces, and remove trash from offices and breakrooms.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, and handwashing stations while restocking supplies.
- Clean windows, cafeteria areas, and outdoor break spaces.
- Safely handle industrial cleaning solutions and follow workplace safety procedures.
- Use elevated work platforms to clean hard-to-reach areas as needed.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum 6 months of professional janitorial or cleaning experience.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding cleaning duties in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate industrial floor-cleaning equipment; Tennant scrubber experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attendance, attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions while working independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work mandatory overtime and different shifts when needed.
- Ability to safely use industrial cleaning chemicals and follow safety procedures.
