We are hiring for a company that specializes in manufacturing and installing custom pool covers. This position is ideal for someone with a background in landscaping, construction, outdoor labor, or other physically demanding environments who is looking for long-term career growth.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to advance into an independent installation technician role!
Skills and Experience
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of custom pool covers.
- Load and unload trucks, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist experienced technicians with pool cover installations at customer locations.
- Measure, prepare, and organize materials for fabrication and installation.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment as trained.
- Perform physically demanding tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Work outdoors in high temperatures, including Arizona summer conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Learn installation procedures with the goal of eventually completing installations independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping, construction, outdoor labor, or another physically demanding position strongly preferred.
- Experience working outdoors in extreme heat and performing physical labor throughout the workday.
- Comfortable lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and performing repetitive physical tasks.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn how to use tools and equipment.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working as part of a team and eventually independently.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to interact with customers.
- Valid driver's license preferred for future advancement opportunities.
