Overview
As a Knife Operator, you will operate and monitor cutting equipment used in the envelope manufacturing process. You’ll help ensure materials are cut accurately, production goals are met, and quality and safety standards are maintained.
Skills and Experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and monitor knife-cutting machinery and production equipment.
- Measure and cut materials according to job specifications.
- Inspect finished materials for accuracy and quality.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all equipment operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Report equipment issues or material defects to the appropriate supervisor.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic measuring and counting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday–Friday
