What You’ll Do as a Team Lead:
- Lead, coordinate, and monitor the work of your shift team.
- Keep production and maintenance activities on schedule for quality, quantity, and timing.
- Ensure team members follow safety, quality, environmental, and operational standards.
- Set up and organize the shift for efficient production.
- Keep your team working together effectively and maintain strong team engagement.
- Monitor production output, productivity, safety, and quality.
- Ensure job orders have the proper labels.
- Complete end-of-shift documentation and provide a thorough handoff to the next shift.
- Stay active and engaged on the shop floor—this is a hands-on leadership role, not a desk job!
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Ability to lead a team and organize a shift for safe, efficient production.
- Strong communication, teamwork, employee engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow and enforce safety, quality, and production standards.
- Forklift operating experience is a plus.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and carry loads up to 50 lbs.
