Material Handler

Load and unload materials safely from trucks and trailers.
Inspect incoming shipments for visible damage and report any discrepancies or issues.
Verify quantities and materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
Use handheld RF scanners to receive, track, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
Enter and update material and inventory information using warehouse computer systems.
Move, stage, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow all company, warehouse, and OSHA safety procedures.
Assist with inventory organization, material counts, and warehouse organization.
Ensure materials are stored properly and are easily accessible when needed.

Previous experience in a warehouse or material-handling position preferred.
Forklift operating experience required or strongly preferred.
Experience using RF scanners/handheld scanners for receiving and tracking materials.
Basic computer skills and ability to work with warehouse or inventory systems.
Ability to read and understand packing slips, shipping documents, and material information.
Strong attention to detail when verifying quantities and shipments.
Ability to safely lift, move, and organize materials.
