Overview
Onin Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who can program, set up, and operate CNC machinery and confidently read and interpret blueprints.
The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to produce quality parts to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines using appropriate codes and controls
- Set up and operate CNC machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Make machine adjustments and offsets as needed
- Select and properly use cutting tools and measuring instruments
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments
- Maintain production and quality standards
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills and Experience
- Previous CNC machining experience required
- Ability to program CNC codes
- Strong CNC machine setup and operating skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good mechanical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
