Overview
Onin Staffing is currently seeking dependable and hardworking Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility.
This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work and are interested in manufacturing. Previous machine operating experience is preferred but not required — training will be provided.
Schedule
New hires will train on 1st shift for approximately two weeks:
- Training: 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- After Training: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
- Pay: $15.00 per hour
Applicants must be able to work the early morning training schedule and transition to the permanent 2nd-shift schedule following training.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery
- Follow production and safety procedures
- Inspect products for quality
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Report equipment or production issues to the supervisor
- Meet daily production and quality expectations
- Work safely and effectively as part of a team
Skills and Experience
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work the required training and permanent schedules
- Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
