Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Extrusion Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications. The ideal candidate has experience with plastic, resin, or metal extrusion, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality control.

What You’ll Do as a Extrusion Machine Operator:
- Set up dies, load raw materials into hoppers, and adjust machine controls.
- Monitor continuous production runs for accurate speed, temperature, and pressure.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools like calipers.
- Troubleshoot blockages, irregular flow, or shape defects.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic repairs on equipment.
- Record production logs and follow strict factory safety rules.
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, climb tower stairs, and perform physical manual labor.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical manuals.
