Overview
Ōnin Staffing is hiring Loom Operators for a manufacturing facility in Crowley, LA. This position involves working with production machinery used in the manufacturing process.
We are seeking reliable individuals who are safety-conscious, attentive to detail, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor loom machinery during production.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality.
- Watch for production issues and report equipment concerns.
- Follow operating instructions and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet production goals and maintain consistent work quality.
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, attentive, and ready to learn. Previous manufacturing or loom experience is helpful, but not required.
The ideal candidate:
- Is dependable and takes pride in their work.
- Can follow basic instructions and production standards.
- Has strong attention to detail and can identify quality issues.
- Is comfortable working around machinery and in a manufacturing environment.
- Can perform basic reading and math.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Is comfortable with a physically active position involving standing, walking, sitting, and lifting.
- Is willing to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Qualifications
- No previous experience required — training can be provided.
- Steel-toe safety shoes are required.
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
