Bag Machine Operator – 1st and 2nd Shifts
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
We are hiring dependable Bag Machine Operators to operate production equipment, inspect finished products, and maintain quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and continuously monitor an assigned bag machine.
- Assist with roll changes, zipper changes, and machine changeovers.
- Measure and inspect bags to ensure they meet specifications.
- Pull and label samples from completed boxes.
- Package products using the correct count.
- Complete production and quality paperwork accurately.
- Make minor machine adjustments as needed.
- Keep the machine supplied and the work area clean.
- Follow all safety procedures and management instructions.
Skills and Experience
Required Skills Test
Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment test covering:
- Reading measurements
- Working with fractions
- Basic multiplication
Previous machine-operation or manufacturing experience is preferred. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
