What You’ll Do as a Bilingual Shipping/Logistics Lead:
- Keep daily shipping operations moving smoothly and efficiently
- Make sure building materials are organized, prepared, and ready to go
- Double-check orders and paperwork for accuracy before shipments leave
- Help coordinate deliveries and keep drivers and internal teams on schedule
- Guide the shipping team through daily priorities and assignments
- Help teammates work safely and efficiently when handling materials
- Communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking workers, drivers, and others throughout the day
- Help troubleshoot order, inventory, or shipping issues as they come up
- Keep the shipping and staging areas clean, organized, and ready for the next shipment
- Work closely with warehouse and production teams to keep orders on track
- Help ensure materials are loaded properly and protected during transport
- Identify opportunities to make the shipping process more organized and efficient
- Support a safe, productive, and team-focused work environment
- Jump in wherever needed to help the shipping operation succeed
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 3+ years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or material-handling experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
- Experience with building materials, construction materials, steel framing, or a similar environment
- Previous lead or team-lead experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to accurately read and follow shipping documents, work orders, and packing lists
- Experience coordinating multiple shipments and priorities
- Knowledge of safe loading, securing, and handling of building materials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Forklift experience is a plus
